Community / Contact BSAN

A network begins with people

Find your people. Bring your voice.

Connect around blindness, sexuality, relationships, and consent. Lived experience belongs here. You do not need a professional title.

Opens an email draft. Share only what you choose. Prefer a web form? Use the contact form.

Share with the community

Have an event, webinar, useful resource, or community information to share? These forms guide you through the title, links, audience, cost, and access details. BSAN reviews suggestions before adding them to the website.

Your information stays your choice

An introduction is an email to BSAN, not an automatic membership, mailing-list subscription, or public profile. Public contributions need permission and review.

We are rebuilding the network in public. Join BSAN, share what you would like to help create, or contribute a resource, event, professional connection, story, or collaboration idea.

Community agreements

  • Respect each person’s choices, name, pronouns, boundaries, and access needs. Ask before offering assistance or sharing someone’s story.
  • Speak from your experience. Blind people’s lives and preferences are diverse. Disagreement is welcome; harassment, threats, outing, and discrimination are not.
  • Describe relevant visuals, use clear link titles, and offer accessible text when sharing media. Tell us when an access feature is unknown.
  • Keep private information private. Do not submit another person’s contact information, private meeting link, or intimate details without permission.
  • Tell BSAN if you created, sell, or are paid to promote a resource. Reviews and paid support must not buy favorable editorial coverage.

Resource suggestions, event submissions, and reviews go to BSAN for review before publication. Submitting a story does not give automatic permission to publish it. Please use the consent choices in the form.

Report a concern, request a correction, or flag an access barrier. Include the page or resource title and what needs attention. Share only what is necessary. BSAN does not provide real-time moderation or emergency response.
